Essential Visitor Guidelines: Ensuring Safety and Healing at Shree Hospital

At Shree Hospital, our primary commitment is the well-being and speedy recovery of our patients. We recognize that the support of family and friends is a vital part of the healing process. To maintain a quiet, safe, and sterile environment for all, we request all visitors to adhere to the following guidelines.

Visiting Hours

To ensure our medical team can provide uninterrupted care and patients receive adequate rest, visiting is restricted to the following timings:
General Wards:

  • 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM and 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM

ICU/Critical Care Units:

  • 11:00 AM – 11:30 AM and 5:30 PM – 6:00 PM (Strictly one visitor at a time).

Entry and Identification

  • Visitor Passes: All visitors must collect a valid entry pass from the reception desk. Please display or carry this pass at all times while on hospital premises.
  • Attendant Pass: Only one designated attendant is permitted to stay with the patient overnight (where applicable).

Prohibited Items and Activities

  • Outside Food: To prevent infection and adhere to clinical diets, outside food and beverages are strictly prohibited in patient rooms.
  • Flowers and Plants: While well-intentioned, flowers and potted plants can carry fungal spores and allergens. These are not permitted in clinical areas.
  • Children: For their own safety and to minimize the risk of infection, children under the age of 12 are discouraged from visiting, except in special circumstances with prior permission.
  • Photography: To respect the privacy of all patients and staff, photography and videography are strictly prohibited inside the hospital.

Maintaining a Healing Environment

  • Silence Zone: Please keep conversations at a low volume. Mobile phones should be kept on silent or vibrate mode within the wards.
  • Smoking and Tobacco: Shree Hospital is a strictly tobacco-free and smoke-free campus.
  • Respect Professional Space: During doctor rounds or nursing procedures, visitors may be asked to step out of the room momentarily. We appreciate your cooperation.
